Topics

Topics are for deliberate structure. They use paths and can be filtered exactly or by subtree.

A single item can belong to multiple topics. This is expected and keeps the system from becoming folder-like.

Tags

Tags are for cross-cutting meaning, workflow states, or difficulty markers.

Slash-style names are supported so tags can feel organized without becoming a second rigid hierarchy.
